Meet the MCA in Scottsdale, Arizona this winter!

MCA 2024 Arizona Winter Meeting
December 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

By Dani Sheehan.

What better way to escape the cold weather than a trip to Arizona for MCA’s Winter Meeting. Learn, network and market with other industry experts to prepare your business for a successful year in metal!

Soak up the sun, network with friends and increase your knowledge of metal construction when you join the Metal Construction Association (MCA) for their winter meeting this January 29 – 31, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Not only will there be a host of industry education opportunities, but there will also be a golf event to support their new scholarship program and social events to meet new people or catch up with old friends.

Some of the features for the 2024 meeting include:

From Washington to your workplace

Join Gene Marks, CPA, business owner and national columnist, for his presentation Monday, January 29, on tactics and strategies for navigating growth in the new year. He’ll talk about the smartest leaders and how to position your company and your products for growth. Don’t miss him later for a talk with the Market Development Committee to discuss artificial intelligence (AI), ChatGPT and other technologies in the workplace.

Codes and standards session

Also Monday, January 29, join Dave Cocuzzi and Bob Zabcik as they discuss codes and standards in the industry. Dave, the technical director at the National Coil Coating Association (NCCA), will shed light on codes surrounding ongoing chemistry issues, sustainability and more.

Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) general session

For this year’s general session on January 29, Renee Ramey of the MRA and Mark Zehnal, director of FORTIFIED Roof at the Insurance Institute for Business Home Safety (IBHS), will discuss their residential roof program and what opportunities are available through certification programs.

Keynote presentation

Tuesday, January 30, Paul Lowrey, founder of Steel Research Associates, presents the keynote address, sharing steel industry data pertaining to roofing and the building envelope. His insights will help support your strategic decisions moving forward into 2024.

Looking to be more involved this year? Consider sponsoring the event and support your marketing goals! The Coffee Break sponsor is a cost-effective way to increase brand awareness by receiving recognition at the event and your logo on the MCA app and website.

Register now to get involved with the association, market your company and your products, and learn more about metal as you prepare for a new year of growth!
