The National Frame Building Association (NFBA) has a new leader at their helm! Robyn Ommen was recently appointed president of the post-frame construction industry association. The NFBA is a nonprofit trade association who supports industry members with a solid community and resources. With decades of experience in this industry, Robyn is sure to bring about some great changes through her work.
Robyn has 20+ years of experience in marketing and has currently been with Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings for 10 years. She also has experience in the audio-visual industry, an MFA from Vesper College, a BBA from the University of St. Thomas and is LEED AP accredited. Needless to say, she is perfect for this new leadership role.
We recently got to speak with Robyn for a podcast about her new role as president and what she has planned during her term. There, she tells us that she got involved with the association through Sherwin-Williams and has been on the NFBA board since 2015. She says that the NFBA is always looking to be a thought leader in their industry and continuously improve the market.
In regards to the NFBA Expo, Robyn says that the association will be looking to connect with members of the industry and build an even more supportive community for them. “We have amazing committees from membership to technical to even building a foundation within there,” she said. “So, within our committees, we're always looking to see how we can improve our members' business, how we can make sure that we're always looking out for them in regards to what support they need.”
Congratulations to Robyn on her new role and we can’t wait to see what she does next!
