This storm season, take on the challenge to expand your business opportunities using these useful platforms!

In the special Para Latinos Lunch & Learn webinar, “Mastering the storm season with technological applications,” host Julissa Chavez sat down with Jessica Chavez of Labor Central to discuss the importance of incorporating digital technology and networking tools into daily work operations. Para Latinos Lunch & Learn is a quarterly Lunch & Learn sponsored by SRS Distribution Para Latinos conducted entirely in Spanish for Spanish speaking individuals in the roofing industry to participate in conversation with peers and learn valuable skills.

As technology has advanced tremendously over the last several decades, the ability to network and conduct business anytime anywhere has become nearly universally accessible. Digital networking platforms are available for anyone to use and conduct business from and can be a great way to establish long-term business relationships that can boost your success as a roofer.

Not only can social media be an advantageous tool for roofers to build their business and customer base, but other digital platforms can be of great use as well. Julissa shared the ways in which the RoofHub app from SRS Distribution can be helpful for contractors looking to run their business more efficiently. From online ordering management features and invoice tracking to training opportunities and interactive storm maps, RoofHub is a great way to organize various business information all in one place that is easy to access and manage.

In conjunction with the work contractors can do using RoofHub, to find areas that will need help after enduring storm damage using the weather map for example, they can also manage their labor crews using the Labor Central app and member features. Jessica explained, “Companies can come here to Labor Central to use our app and start looking for the roofing crews, the companies in those areas that need roofing assistance.”

By making the most of both applications, roofers can not only manage their existing project opportunities and progress but also search for potential new areas and projects that might be fruitful in the future for more work.
