When Uptown Liquor Store in Whittier, California needed a new roof, the roofing contractor chose EVERROOF products to ensure the job was done right. The 15,000-square-foot roof was no easy feat to conquer, but using the cutting-edge materials EVERROOF had to offer made the job easy breezy. They even posted some beautiful footage of the re-roofing job in action on their YouTube Channel!
The success of the project was achieved by the meticulous application of EVERROOF’s materials. The existing roof had to be thoroughly cleaned and power washed. Then, the roof was primed using EVERROOF Primer M100, which has rust inhibiting properties. The primer also has bleed block characteristics, which creates a stable barrier for the roof coating to be installed on. Mastic was then installed to reinforce the seams and more vulnerable areas of the roof.
Once the roof was primed for success, the contractor installed an Ever-Silic® HS roof coating. The Ever-Silic HS system is known for its durability and resistance to harsh weather. This material was applied to the roof at a rate of 2.5 gallons per square foot over a cap sheet. In combination with the primer and mastic, this system ensures that every detail of the roof is protected, and the roof will last for a long time.
Throughout the project, EVEROOF worked closely with General Coatings Manufacturing Corp (GCMC), who helped perform multiple inspections throughout the process. Their collaboration and dedication to durability helped ease the worries of the building owner. The end result? A beautiful roof that will stand the test of time and protect the building’s inhabitants.
