Register today for National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) 40th Anniversary Seminar in New York City, September 18-21, 2019.

RoofersCoffeeShop® is very happy to partner with the National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) to promote their 40th Anniversary Seminar in New York City, September 18-21, 2019.  The line up of speakers is truly impressive with the seminar featuring legal experts Stephen Phillips, Phillip Siegel and Trent Cotney, as well as roofing industry experts Reid Ribble, Rene Dupuis, Mark Graham and Tom Shanahan. The seminars will allow attendees to share ideas and best practices, find solutions to problems, and build a lasting professional support network and business relationships that will thrive after the seminar.

New on the schedule this year are a number of panels focused on important issues such as enterprise risk, congressional reform and crisis management.  “We wanted to expand the topics to a higher view, incorporating contractors and legislators in the conversation,” stated Alison LaValley, NRLRC executive director.

The first panel will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 3:15 – 4:45 p.m.  The panel will focus on Enterprise Risk Management – What You Need to Know! and will feature Tom Shanahan, Vice President NRCA, Monica Cameron
Vice President Diamond Roofing and Dave Hesse, Vice President Kalkreuth Roofing and S/M.  They will focus on what contractors need to know about developing, implementing and sustaining a strong risk management program.

The second panel will take place Friday, September 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. – noon and will bring regulation and politics to the 40th year with a Congressional Reform Panel.  It will feature Scott Rigell, Former U.S. Congressman Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District; Randy Hultgren, Former U.S. Congressman Illinois’ 14th Congressional District and Reid Ribble, CEO NRCA and also a Former U.S. Congressman Wisconsin's 8th congressional district.  This intriguing panel will be moderated by Stephen Phillips, Partner Hendrick, Phillips, Salzman & Siegel.  It will offer one-of-a-kind insight on the thoughts of former congressmen who see a definite need for reform.

Finally, on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. lead by Tom Shanahan, VP NRCA a panel of contractors will speak on Crisis Management: Case Histories and Lessons Learned.   Scott Baxter, President Nations Roof  he’s with TECTA now but I don’t know his title and Monica Cameron will share case histories on crisis management and what lessons roofing contractors can learn and employ in their own businesses.

“Innovative ideas don’t come from thinking the same old way,” added Stephen Phillips. “These panels are offering a different way to learn and engage.  Every roofing contractor should take a few days away from your office and experience a unique, informative, educational event in New York City.”

For forty years, the National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC), in conjunction with the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), has developed and delivered unique legal products, services and education to enable roofing contractors to successfully manage and respond effectively to the legal issues affecting their business.  Today one of their key events is NRLRC’s Annual Legal Seminar, Roofing Issues: Decks to Dockets.

This year’s NRLRC seminar will take place in the Big Apple on September 18-21, at the New York Hilton Midtown. New York City provides the backdrop to an extraordinary three-day learning experience that offers roofing contractors 13+ hours of in-depth legal, contractual, technical and business information that can’t be found anywhere else. In addition, contractors will discover 5-10 new ideas that can implemented immediately upon their return to the office.

For more information and to register for the seminar, please contact Alison LaValley or Anne Schroeder at (847) 299-9092 or visit the NRLRC Annual Seminar website or www.nrlrc.net.
