Networking is one of the most valuable skills one can possess, but not everyone knows how to find the power of networking within them. It’s perfectly normal to be nervous when it comes to networking, but once you’ve developed your skills, you’ll find that it is crucial to progressing your career. For those who want to learn more about networking, you can learn all about it at the upcoming Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) and Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) Annual Conference!
RoofersCoffeeShop® President Heidi Ellsworth will be speaking about “The Power of Networking” at this year’s MRCA/RCAT Annual Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. The presentation is scheduled for September 28 from 7:30 a.m to 8:50 a.m. In this interactive seminar that’s just a little over an hour, you’ll gain a plethora of knowledge on how to network in a professional and positive way that will advance your career.
Heidi will be using the book she wrote with Karen L. Edwards titled “Power of Networking” to lead this workshop-style presentation. Attendees will be learning about the importance of networking both outside your company and within. You’ll learn how to use social platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook for networking purposes as well as how to set networking goals for yourself.
By the end of this session, you’ll have your own networking process to use at your disposal for growing professionally. No matter where you’re at in your career, you’ll benefit greatly from developing and perfecting your networking process.
Register for the MRCA/RCAT Annual Conference today!
