She emphasizes the necessity of having the exact dimensions of the existing deck, such as the deck’s depth, rib to rib dimensions, flute dimensions and sidelap details so that the precise new materials can be ordered and installed with the best possible accuracy.   

Sarah also touches on the topic of discontinued metal deck profiles and how to best work with existing panels that are no longer available for purchase while bringing in new panel styles that can be used as replacements. She explains the best practices and panel types to consider for different roof deck projects based on size and styles.
