Learn From the Pros About Online Roofing Communities

Leap Online Roofing Companies
December 16, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.

By Alec Doniger.

Online communities are convenient places to network for otherwise unlikely opportunities.

Meeting people and making connections is important for helping you progress in your career. It’s no different in roofing, but even if you know this, you might not know about all the different online communities available to you. However, on December 15, that could all change. At 2:00 p.m. RoofersCoffeeShop® and Leap™ will present a webinar about the importance of online roofing communities.

A panel of roofing industry experts – Heidi J. Ellsworth, Danielle Basch, Lester Morris and Kristina Hill – will share their wisdom on this topic and brainstorm how to motivate more roofing professionals to use online community platforms. You will learn why doing so is beneficial. Once you understand the key features of each platform that will be discussed, it will become clear which roofing forum is right for you. Starting your own community is a great networking opportunity, and tips for achieving this will be shared.

Kristina Hill has a wealth of information you won’t want to miss out on. She runs a Facebook group called “Harness & Heels – Women in Roofing.” Women make up around 0.5% of all workers in the roofing industry, which can make it difficult for female employees to have their voices heard. With her Facebook group, Kristina aims to facilitate a space where women can meet other women, share their experiences, and provide support for one another.

Lester Morris’ sales and business development experience has led him to become a part of JobProgress™ team. Job Progress is an app developed by contractors for contractors as a business organizational tool. Contractors can use the app to track work opportunities, take notes for estimates, send proposals, and communicate with their team. With such a versatile tool, contractors are able to do nearly all of their business through this app, connecting teams with other roofing professionals in a seamless all-in-one platform.

Heidi J. Ellsworth of RoofersCoffeeShop® and Danielle Basch from Leap™ will also be included on this webinar panel. These two businesswomen have been at the forefront of the communities in their respective fields, making them certified experts at facilitating these online community operations.

For all these reasons, December 15 will be an exciting day for all who attend! If you’re looking to improve your online marketing tactics, and connect with other roofing professionals, this will be a must-see webinar.
