Founder of S-5! and director of the Metal Roof Advisory Group, Rob Haddock met with Lauren White of RoofersCoffeeShop® at the International Roofing Expo (IRE) 2023 to talk about the latest ventures of S-5!
When asked about what’s new with S-5!, Rob listed all the new countries they are now able to ship to and work with, such as Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and the Caribbeans.
Rob also mentions that just last year in 2022, they were awarded 14 new patents, bringing them to a grand total of 112 patents since the company was founded in 1992.
A sample of a satellite placement on a roof was shown at the expo and when asked what makes it different, Rob replied, “It won’t ruin your roof.” He continues to explain how their new GRIPPERFIX® is unlike other mounts. “All the ways that people have mounted satellite dishes in the past with ballast or jamming holes through the roof or whatever, are all things that ruin the roof, and our mantra is that we won't ruin the roof. We'll preserve roof warranties and our products will last the life of the roof and we guarantee that.”
S-5! has been around for 30 years, and they pride themselves on their certified products. Having materials that homeowners or contractors can use that are backed with science and testing allows for consistency in their company and it makes them a top choice for contractors because they went the extra mile to make sure that their products guarantee results. And now they have an even larger range of the world to work with and share their amazing products with.
