Join National Women in Roofing (NWIR) at the International Roofing Expo

NWIR is planning the first annual National Women in Roofing Day for Sunday February 4, 2018 in New Orleans at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Be among professional, like-minded, good-spirited women from all facets of the roofing industry to gain insight and inspiration. Learn how to maximize your career in this exciting industry through discussions with colleagues and by leveraging the opportunities to grow professional networks and meet new peers throughout the day.

The day kicks off with a wellness activity followed by a Dutch-treat brunch at your choice of several local restaurants. At noon, the formal program begins with a keynote speaker.

The afternoon will feature educational sessions, discussion groups and presentations covering a variety of career development and business-building topics. The day ends with a Super Bowl party.

This program is intended to foster conversation and learning. You will be able to select each activity in which you choose to participate and we hope you come prepared to fully engage and get the most out of this event. Sometimes it can be challenging to help an employer understand the value of professional development, so NWIR members have prepared a Justification Letter to help you. Special Notes on Registration Registration for this event is through the IRE registration. The fee for members is $50 and the fee for nonmembers is $110. We will open up a separate registration process in mid-January for people who are unable to attend the IRE.

To determine which registrants receive member pricing, the system uses the exact first name, last name and email address that is on the NWIR member list. If the registrant enters her first and last name but uses her personal email, the system will not provide member pricing if the member list has her work email (or vice versa). Same thing if the registrant enters Cindy but the member list has Cynthia. It must be an exact match in all 3 fields.

To determine which registrants receive member pricing, the registration system matches the exact first name, last name and email address that is on the NWIR member list. If your first attempt doesn’t work, please check your listing on the member directory on the NWIR website (if you opted in to the member directory). You may also email the NWIR member services coordinator, Julie Massaro, at info@nationalwomeninroofing.com to determine the exact name and email address that we have for you in our database; she will respond to your email within 24-36 hours.
