We are thrilled to be kicking off our 2023 employee highlights! Every month of this year, we will introduce you to one of our amazing employees. These introductions will shed some light on the people that represent our great products and keep our reputation up.  
 
Our first highlight is our independent sales representative Ian Wilson of Market Makers Inc, LLC. Ian's company MMI represents some of the best brands in the roofing industry and spans the entire great state of Texas and into Oklahoma. Ian began MMI in Houston in 1999 and quickly expanded into central and south Texas. In 2022 he acquired Wilcox & Associates in north Texas and Oklahoma and thus added United Asphalts to his line card.  
 
With over 30 years in the industry, Ian has an incredible wealth of knowledge to help his customers create solutions. This was especially obvious during the past few years with Covid and the supply chain issues we've experienced. With 10 full-time employees and growth forecasted, MMI will help United Asphalts to increase brand awareness and market share in south Texas and beyond.  
 
Not only does Ian run a very successful rep group, but he is also a dedicated father with a daughter in college and a son in high school. It's really for his kids he strives to thrive in his business and life with integrity and grit.
