When Frank Pacheco, President of Integro Construction, a Southlake, Texas full service construction firm, heard about Ramona Adams’ roofing scam experience through a new story on Dallas-Fort Worth’s NBC5 he knew he wanted to help. Adams’ Plano, Texas home was damaged during a hailstorm in 2016. She hired a roofing contractor who took thousands of dollars of her money and never showed up to perform the work.
NBC5 Responds called the contractor and repeatedly received no answer to their calls. The contractor was not registered with the Secretary of State’s Office which is required for anyone doing business in the state of Texas.
Pacheco reached out to NBC5 and said he would fix the woman’s roof at no cost to her. Pacheco said he was happy to help. “I’ve had a lot of help, I’ve been blessed, so I’m just trying to pass it on to hard working people.”
Adams said she is very grateful for the help and she hopes others learn from her experience.
