The CleanTech Alliance Health Trust is now providing members of the Roofing Contractors Association of Washington (RCAW) access to employee benefits. CleanTech Alliance Health states, “Our goal is to provide plan offerings as diverse as our customers and their different industry sectors.”
These benefits are available to companies that develop products and services in energy, environmental, and sustainability industries. So how does roofing fit in? According to the CleanTech Alliance, “...the roofing industry is in many ways, at the forefront of the green movement with the use of recycled materials, eco-friendly ‘cool’ roofs and construction processes that reduce carbon emissions and pollution.”
The CleanTech Alliance shared that the program, “...provides big company benefits for small to mid-size companies starting with just two employees.” Sefton Oxford, secretary for RCAW expressed, “The challenge is for small companies in particular. Every dollar matters and being able to offer affordable coverage to our members is key to RCAW’s Membership Advantage program.”
The CleanTech Alliance made it a priority to provide easy, convenient, and accessible health benefits. “Insurance through the HealthTrust provides exclusive advantages such as a wide array of administrative services, as well as highly competitive group rates through contracts with the largest and most respected insurance carriers in Washington state…,” revealed the CleanTech Alliance.
RCAW members now have access to medical from Premera Blue Cross, dental from Delta Dental of Washington, vision form VSP Vision Care Inc., life and AD&D from UNUM, and Employee Assistance Program from Wellspring EAP.
Premera Blue Cross is also one of the companies backing the CleanTech Alliance Health Trust. According to Premera, they are a “not-for-profit, independent licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.” Having served Washington state since 1933, they have provided for “...more than 2 million people— from individuals and families to members of Fortune 100 employer groups,” as noted in the announcement. Premera strives to improve healthcare, thus enhancing the lives of their customers. They explained, “..We offer a rich set of tools and resources to help our customers manage both their healthcare and costs.”
Now thousands of employees working at over 100 different companies have access to affordable healthcare thanks to the CleanTech Alliance. Whether a company has just two employees or is mid-range, these robust employee benefits are available to all. The partnership of the CleanTech Alliance Health Trust and RCAW allows members to continue serving and changing the world without worrying about their insurance needs.
