Isaiah Industries, manufacturer of specialty steep-slope metal roofing systems based in Ohio, founded the Metal Roofing Summit as a way to bring together roofing professionals from across North America to meet and share their knowledge about sales, marketing and leadership. With a desire to uplift fellow members of the roofing community, Isaiah Industries is preparing for this year’s summit which will take place April 25 through the 27 in Dayton, Ohio.
This year’s summit will not only feature a number of inspirational speakers but also an opportunity to learn the art of roof installation for those who would like to learn for the first time or refresh their knowledge. On April 28, the day after the summit, attendees can stay an extra day for the opportunity to train with Isaiah Industries’ Director of Dealer Development Marlen Bourne, at their 15,000 square foot special indoor training facility located in Piqua, Ohio.
With thirty years of experience in the contracting business, Marlen has worked with Isaiah Industries over the last six years as a liaison for clients across the country by providing dealers with the skills and assistance they need to succeed in marketing, sales and installation relevant to the metal roofing industry. With a wealth of knowledge installing not only Isaiah Industries’ products but those of competitors as well, Marlen is dedicated to the success and training of those who attend the training programs regardless of the businesses they partner with!
“[Marlen] is really superior at not only training how to install metal roofs but also at helping contractors know how to do installations in an efficient manner. So, a chunk of the training focuses on project management,” Todd Miller, president of Isaiah Industries, told RoofersCoffeeShop. “The training is provided at no charge. Each training session is tailored to meet the attendees’ specific needs. It may take from one to three days depending upon whether they are seeking training on standing seam, metal shingles, or both.”
The team at Isaiah Industries is dedicated to the success of those who attend the upcoming training program, as well as those who plan to attend future installation training events no matter what their needs or skill set may be. Their team is willing to meet them at whatever need or preference level the attendees may be at. “We gladly train folks who are even installing our competitors’ products because we believe that a rising tide raises all ships. Additionally, we offer jobsite training at a negotiated cost depending on the situation. Additionally, we know many regional trainers with whom we can connect contractors for training programs specific to their needs,” said Todd.
