How to Tap Into the Power of Networking

Heidi Ellsworth Power of Networking

By Cass Jacoby.

Heidi J. Ellsworth explains how to harness “The Power of Networking” in a workshop-style presentation.

Networking is invaluable to any profession, but it is especially important in a people-focused industry like roofing. We all have the power to network and progress our careers, but it can often make us nervous and we don’t always know how to tap into our networks and reach the success we are looking for.

Luckily, RoofersCoffeeShop® President Heidi J. Ellsworth is a networking whisperer and can teach you how to hone your networking skills to great success. She recently shared her knowledge at METALCON 2022 at the Indiana Convention Center October. There certainly is no better place to start networking than a tradeshow like METALCON with three days of exhibits, education and hobnobbing!

In Heidi’s interactive seminar, “The Power of Networking,” attendess learned nearly everything they needed to know to grow their professional network and create win-win scenarios that will advance their career. Based on Heidi’s book she co-wrote with RCS COO Karen L. Edwards, attendees learned about everything from micro-networking to macro-networking, and now understand how to build a support system for their businesses that extends from local to global.

Heidi served as a guide on how to turn social media platforms, associations and engagement within a local community into golden career opportunities. By the end of the hour, attendees had their own networking process at their disposal to help them grow professionally. No matter where they're at in their career, attendees benefitted greatly from developing and perfecting their networking process.
