APOC Polyset RTA-1 is a one-component, polyurethane foam adhesive specifically designed to bond concrete and clay roof tiles to underlayments. Due to the unique product properties of polyurethane foam and the dispensing unit that comes with the adhesive, APOC Polyset RTA-1 is a better alternative to traditional fastening methods like mortar, screws, nails or other one-component adhesives.
When installed in lieu of traditional fastening methods such as nails and screws, APOC Polyset RTA-1 prevents tile chattering and deck penetrations, making this product ideal for installing cut pieces at hips and valleys.
It has superior holding power compared to nails, screws, mortar, wire tie systems and single component adhesives. With this adhesive you can increase wind resistance by 50-100%
Furthermore, this product utilizes an HFO blowing agent that doesn’t negatively contribute to the environment by not containing any VOCs. APOC Polyset RTA-1 meets sustainability requirements including thermal resistance (up to 4.4 R-value), exceeding current energy codes, reducing attic heat buildup and improving energy efficiency.
APOC Polyset RTA-1 is approved by ICC-ES, DSA IR 15-2, Class A rated, ASTM E-108, TRI approved, Miami-Dade County, Florida Building Code, Texas Department of Insurance Evaluation.
With APOC 705 Polyset RTA-1 you can expect quick, easy and effective tile repair. Save on materials and labor costs with a product that is designed to minimize tile installation damage associated with mechanical fasteners and make it easy to deliver an end product with enhanced performance.
