Safety is obviously a top priority within the roofing industry, but it’s not always easy to know if your safety program has areas where it can be improved. With so much work to be done on the roof, it can be hard to assess if your safety program is following the industry best practices or to find those areas of improvement. After all, it is hard to find the time to read hundreds of safety manuals and ask what your competition is doing.
Luckily, there is already a company doing that for your, Harness has turned hundreds of construction safety programs into digital versions, meaning they have firsthand knowledge of what works in a safety program and what doesn’t. Harness has made this information accessible to anyone with their Safety Scorecard.
A Safety Scorecard is an online tool that measures your company’s safety against industry standards and best practices. You will be asked a series of questions about the safety protocol of your company and given a list of suggestions for improvements.
Answers to these questions are offered in ranges or scales and multiple-choice, making it easy to quickly take this quiz and get results. The results you receive will be based on the score assigned to each response and based on the importance of the task to a strong safety program. You will ultimately end the quiz with four valuable pieces of information:
1 – A cumulative score and rank compared to other construction companies.
2 – A breakdown of the results, highlighting areas that need the most attention.
3 – A list of suggestions on the next steps the company should take to improve.
4 – Links to information that will help companies accomplish these improvements.
Take the Safety Scorecard quiz today and start building a stronger safety program.
