National Women in Roofing (NWiR) is calling upon its members to present at next year’s NWiR Day. The seventh annual NWIR Day will take place on February 4, 2024, in Las Vegas, just before the 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE). Submissions will close by August 11, 2023, so submit your presentation proposal today!
For the past six years, NWiR has been bringing women in roofing and allies from all over the nation for their annual NWiR Day. On this day, they create a valuable experience for women in the roofing industry through professional development courses, networking sessions and hands-on product demonstrations. Last year, over 500 attendees gathered to celebrate and support other women in this industry.
The theme for NWiR Day 2024 will be: “Hitting it Out of the Park: How Women Rise With Allies and Advocates.” Your presentation can be anything from an interactive workshop to a panel discussion to a motivational speech. The organization encourages roofing contractors, manufacturers, vendors, suppliers, building envelope consultants, service providers and more to submit a presentation.
The presentations for the day are organized into specific tracks for attendees to follow. They are seeking presentations for the following tracks:
Is there a subject you wish you had known early on in your career? Are you passionate about a topic in your life that you want more people to know about? Would you like to see women in the industry rise up to success? NWiR wants to hear from you!
Submit your presentation proposal for NWIR Day 2023!
