Hear From the Only KEE Manufacturer With VSH Accreditation

FiberTite - Hear From the Only KEE Manufacturer With VSH Accreditation
October 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.

By Lauren White, RCS Reporter.

Our next RLW, on October 28, to feature FiberTite sharing expertise on Very Severe Hail.

With all of the options available for people to consume information, RoofersCoffeeShop® (RCS) was curious how roofing professionals prefer to learn.  What we discovered is that contractors want to be able to read blogs and e-books at night before bed, listen to podcasts on their way to work, or watch videos with their morning coffee.  So RCS developed RLW, which stands for Read, Listen, Watch, so roofers can consume information when they want and how they want.

The next RLW of our 2020 series will be presented by FiberTite.  Join us on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11 a.m. PDT for the “watch” portion of the RLW.  During the webinar, Will Your Roof Withstand Very Severe Hail?, Steve Kuhel, Senior Product Manager for FiberTite, will speak about the impact of Very Severe Hail (VSH) on the roofing industry.

During the webinar, Steve will share with Heidi J. Ellsworth, RCS partner, about the changes in hail resistance, specifically what is happening with FM Global testing, a property insurance company that invests in research and engineering to progress the science of property loss prevention.

As weather events become more severe throughout the United States, it’s important for roof systems to be designed with resiliency in mind.  Some states get hail the size of tennis balls and baseballs, and without the proper roof system, damage caused by this hail can be very costly.  FiberTite leads the industry with their KEE coating formula as the only KEE manufacturer with VSH accreditation.  During the RLW, Steve will share FiberTite’s current testing methods, in addition to how their products are listed and accredited.

While the 2020 hail season is coming to an end, the information presented in this RLW will benefit roofing professionals and help them prepare for subsequent hailstorms.  Steve will share tips for contractors to ensure they are compliant with VSH accredited products, in addition to explaining VSH and its importance to building owners.

Register now for Will Your Roof Withstand Very Severe Hail on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
