GAF Roof Views Launches

GAF Roof Views Launches
October 10, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.

By Karen L. Edwards, RCS Editor.

The new blog on GAF.com is designed with both property owners and professionals in mind.

GAF has revamped its blog and branded it GAF Roof Views. According to a company announcement, GAF Roof Views “was created to help homeowners find the information they need to answer their roofing questions, while providing residential and commercial pros with a trusted resource to stay on top of the latest industry trends and innovations.”

The blog is divided into specific categories for each audience with topics including: Your Home, Residential Roofing, Commercial Roofing, Building Science and In Your Community. In addition to providing educational information for roofing contractors, the blog can also serve as an excellent source of content for contractors to share with their customers.

In the Your Home section, articles focus on interesting and engaging topics for homeowners such as how to choose the right roofing contractor, information on financing a roof repair and helpful tips on selling a home and what to do following a hail storm.

Commercial contractors will appreciate the articles designed to educate building owners with topics that include information on restoration versus replacement and differences in single-ply membranes along with their pros and cons. They also will benefit from the many how to articles that deliver information on items ranging from installing TPO membrane and tapered ISO to performing inspections, taking core cuts and understanding a tapered ISO design plan.

In addition to articles GAF Roof Views features expert videos sharing valuable information for contractors. GAF senior commercial trainers Dave Scott and Wally Brown demonstrate how to properly tear off a roof, how to piece together tapered ISO pieces, and more.

In Your Community shares the many ways that GAF supports the communities where many of their team members live and where GAF has a significant presence. The roofing industry has a big heart and GAF has supported many causes from roofs for veterans, Habitat for Humanity, disaster relief efforts to donating food for those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Learn more about GAF in their RoofersCoffeeShop® Directory.
