GAF Peru donates to local nonprofits to support community impact

Since breaking ground in Peru in 2022, GAF has been committed to growing its local presence and contributing to the city's strong community values.

The team at GAF’s Peru manufacturing facility recently provided donations to four local community organizations: Illinois Valley United Way, Second Story Teen Center of Princeton, IL, IV PADS Shelter and Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam Counties. Through these partnerships with the local nonprofits, the facility is aiming to find opportunities to bring a positive impact to Peru and its residents.

GAF, North America’s largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer, is proud to support the Peru area and its residents through GAF Community Matters, the company’s social impact initiative focused on making a positive difference as neighbors and partners in the community by leveraging its roofing expertise, resources and products to help build resilient communities.

GAF Peru's efforts to support local organizations follow the facility’s recent roofing materials donation to Wellness and Recovery with Maitri (WARM), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing individualized care for individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues in Peru.

Since breaking ground in Peru in 2022, GAF has been committed to growing its local presence and contributing to the city's strong community values.
