From United Asphalts, Say Hello to Gerard Lovato the Chief Plant Operator

Each month, United Asphalts presents an employee who embodies the goals and mission of the company. These rockstar employees share their journey with us and what makes them strive to help United Asphalts continue to be a distinguished company that provides excellent products and service to our customers.  

Our next highlight is our Chief Plant Operator Gerard Lovato. Gerard joined the UA team just a day after his 18th birthday, back in May of 2004. He quickly made an impression working as a warehouse laborer because of his dependability and positive attitude. These great qualities have served him well.    

Over the course of nearly 19 years of exemplary service, Gerard has been promoted to one of the most important positions in the plant - Quality Control. Most days you can find him in our laboratory, making sure that every product we produce meets all specifications and lives up to our high standards 

Gerard is truly a kind and jovial guy whose philosophy is to always show up on time and to keep a positive mind-set and attitude no matter what life presents. When not at work, Gerard loves camping, fishing, spending quality time with his family or just relaxing on his days off.  

"My favorite part of working for UA is joking with my coworkers and being a part of the family atmosphere that exists here," Gerard said.  

Gerard has spent all but one day of his adult life as an employee of United Asphalts and we are super grateful for his contributions. Cheers to many more successful years!
