Holly Gotfredson has been at the forefront of American Metalcraft, Inc. since 1986, steering the WBE-certified company to become a leading name in architectural metal products. Through her leadership, the company has flourished, offering an array of solid plate aluminum, stainless steel, zinc and Corten premium products such as rainscreens, perforated panels, barrier plate wall systems, custom sunshades, brake metal, column covers and decorative exterior elements. One of their many recent standout projects is the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, where they delivered 900 custom perforated panels and an aluminum structural attachment system.

A significant factor in their success is the collaboration with Finishing Dynamics, a partnership that has thrived for nearly two decades. This relationship ensures stringent quality control and a minimized carbon footprint, setting a high standard in the extrusion coating and fabrication market.

Reflecting on the partnership, Holly shares, “Starting with both companies almost 20 years ago, I’ve witnessed the remarkable growth and innovation that have emerged from our collaboration.”

Holly's strategic direction was pivotal in overcoming hurdles like the global pandemic, supply chain disruptions and economic fluctuations. Her dedication to continuous learning and cultivating an authentic company culture has been instrumental in navigating these challenges.

Finishing Dynamics state of the art mix and match system was crucial in addressing Covid- related supply chain shortages, demonstrating their commitment to adaptability and new capabilities.

Under Holly's guidance, American Metalcraft has adeptly managed economic shifts while expanding its market presence. Their sustainable practices, including recycling 100% of scrap aluminum and maintaining rigorous in-house quality control, distinguishes them in the industry. “Having an in-house paint line means no shipping between two separate facilities. American Metalcraft has a lower carbon footprint because everything is done under one roof,” she notes.

American Metalcraft's portfolio spans diverse sectors, including healthcare, corporate, education, government buildings, retail and hospitality. Notable projects include the William & Mary College Creative Arts Center and the Spartanburg County Courthouse. Upcoming ventures, like the Froedtert Healthcare project in Wisconsin and the Inova Health Campus in Virginia, highlight their ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence. Holly emphasizes, “Our favorite projects involve early design input, allowing us to contribute to the architect’s vision and streamline costs.”
