Jeff has worked in technology for 25 years, focusing on consulting and developing software solutions for his clients. He shares, “We started [Instant Roofer] in 2022, and we are fortunate enough to be funded by roofers. I think that makes us quite a bit different in the roofing space. Our mission and vision come from the roofing community and people who are frustrated with what is going on in lead generation and technology. So, we've been fortunate to have that DNA, and our mission is just to help roofing contractors.” 

This is why many of the company’s products are offered for free and without any strings attached. While they do have some paid products, helping roofers succeed in their own businesses is their priority. Two of the main reasons for the founding of Instant Roofer were because Jeff witnessed the inefficiency and unreliability of traditional lead generation companies. He elaborates, “I think if you've been in the industry long enough, you've spent some money on things that don't work. And unfortunately, the two largest sources right now don't have the best reputation. Not only are their leads not exclusive, but they're also shared oftentimes, multiple times. A lead, I'd say conservatively, is shared amongst four contractors and sometimes shared up to 16 times.” 

Instant Roofer’s two primary offerings are changing the narrative for lead generation in the roofing industry. They offer free and exclusive roof replacement leads that are price conditioned and have a much higher close rate compared to traditional leads. They also offer a free roofing calculator that uses AI technology to provide instant measurements and estimates and can be embedded directly into a contractor’s website.  

“We just had our 600th contractor sign up over the weekend, so it’s moving like crazy,” says Jeff. “We're generating thousands of these leads. It's very simple to sign up. You set your service area, you set your pricing, and those leads come from our website instantroofer.com. The technology that we built to have homeowners go through that process of not only locating their roof, but we have an instant measurement of that and an instant estimate.”
