Don’t Miss This Hot Continuing Education Opportunity!

Bitec Torch-Down Application Training
October 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

By Dani Sheehan.

Expand your knowledge of torch down roofing applications and provide your customers with a durable, sustainable and cost-effective roofing solution.

Want to learn more about torch down roofing applications while earning continuing education (CE) credits? North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) is partnering with BiTec, Inc.™ trainers to provide all the information you need to make informed decisions and provide the best solutions for your customers. Join them on November 1, 2023, for a fundamental overview of torch down applications and receive two hours of CE credits.

This will be an interactive class setting to combine lecture with practical application. Add to your professional portfolio and expand your offerings to take roofing projects to the next level. Some highlights for this course include:

  • Weather resilient roofing solutions: See how torch down roofing methods withstand various climate extremes and provide longevity and durability to your customers’ roofs.
  • Application method decision making: Learn the difference between atactic polypropylene (APP) and styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) methods. Once you know the benefits and disadvantages to two-layer versus three-layer torch down applications, you’ll be able to determine the best solution for each unique project.
  • Learn the benefits of torch down roofing: Not only will you better understand the application itself, but see why this option provides greater energy efficiency, waterproofing and resistance to UV rays than other methods.
  • Cost consideration: Dive into estimated costs and what influences those costs to ensure you are transparent with your customers while offering competitive prices.
  • Rolled modified bitumen options: Gain hands-on experience and practical application of rolled modified bitumen for residential patios and extensions.

Hosted at Roadrunner Roofing Supply in Arlington, Texas, the class runs from 9 – 11 a.m. Light snacks and drinks will be included. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to add an exceptional technique to your roofing toolbelt.

Registration is available to members and nonmembers. Reserve your spot before it fills up!
