There’s still time this holiday season to make a difference and give back to an industry that is already so generous! For the entire month of December, join Trent Cotney, RCS Influencer and partner at Adams and Reese LLP, in donating money to some incredible foundations within the roofing industry. For four organizations, he has pledged to match your donations until he reaches $10,000 – that's $2,500 per foundation! Consider supporting one or all these organizations in their efforts to shape the future of roofing through youth scholarships, research and more.
Since 1996, the Roofing Alliance has been the premier foundation for the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). The Roofing Alliance’s objective is to conduct research and educational projects to support programs for roofing contractors and give back to the roofing community through charitable acts. They meet twice a year to analyze, select and recommend projects to take on that address critical industry issues. They also sponsor scholarships for undergraduates looking to further their education.
One of their most charitable partnerships is an agreement they have with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®). Throughout the United States, the Roofing Alliance works to inspect, maintain, repair and replace the roofs on Ronal McDonald House® establishments. This partnership ensures that families seeking treatment for their sick children have access to private sleeping rooms, meals and support during hospital stays so they can focus on their family instead of worrying about costs and accommodations.
Trent loves this time of year and feels so grateful to have the opportunity to give back to an industry that has helped him put food on his table throughout his career. Help celebrate the generosity of organizations within your professional community and say thanks for the support they provide in advancing the future of the roofing industry.
