By National Roofing Contractors Association, NRCA.
The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has always been a champion of educating roofers and elevating the industry as a whole. They believe that through education, roofers can increase their professionalism, learn valuable skills and build better relationships with customers by having standardized credentials that certify roofers as skilled craftspeople. That is why the NRCA has created their ProCertification® program, so that they can expand the expertise of the industry and provide new career paths and opportunities for the future generation of roofers.
The NRCA is developing a new certification for workers who install asphalt-based roof systems, and they are asking for your professional input on what should be on the test to certify someone as a professional.
This is an excellent opportunity for you and your organization to provide feedback about the content for the newest NRCA ProCertification® credential. The survey is broken into two parts, and each section should only take a few minutes to complete. All responses will remain strictly confidential and only be used in aggregate. To help them determine the most critical tasks, you will be asked about the importance of around 37 tasks relative to overall roof performance and how often an experienced installer would likely complete each task.
Your feedback will help us create the Asphalt-based Roof Systems Job Task Analysis, which will be published in early 2023.
NRCA would like to get broad representation from the roofing industry, so please share this survey with your colleagues, customers and industry contacts who have experience with asphalt-based roof system installation.
As an added incentive, all respondents who complete the survey will be entered in a random drawing to win one $100 Amazon gift card. The drawing will be held on December 19, 2022. If you would like to be entered in the drawing, please provide your email address at the end of the survey.
Please complete Part 1 and Part 2 of the survey no later than Dec. 19. Thank you for your participation and continued support of NRCA!
