MetalForming LLC's all-new Stolarczyk tension stand and recoiler allows a single operator to make quick changes and requires minimal setup for rewinding small coils. How? The lifting table at the infeed brings in material to the tension stand. Once the new coils are wound at the desired length, they can be cut after the tension stand with a rotary shear, banded and removed from the system. And even better news is this process can be done over and over without a complete rethreading of the system.
The recoiler is an open-frame cantilevered design for easy load/unload of coil, and has an overhead guide with a separating disk to ensure alignment of the coil. Now, making customer coil widths is easy and efficient with the time-saving combination of this tension stand and recoiler.
Features:
This system has an 11,000-pound capacity with a processing speed of up to 115 fpm. All of these features make the Stolarczyk tension stand and recoiler an advanced system that meets today’s needs, helping to save time and labor while delivering a quality product.
