Cotney Offers Estimating Training Program

These sections will teach you the necessary traits of a roofing estimator and what's required to do the job. Important skills like communication and organizations well as learning essential construction math and how to read blueprints.  

The modules cover arithmetic, how geometry comes into play, how to calculate pitch and load measurements of roof systems and much more. You will also learn how to read both digitized and paper blueprints, as well as learn CSI MasterFormat specifications and upcoming roof code requirements.  

After each lesson there will be a short three to five question quiz, and at the end of this course there will be an 80-question multiple choice test you will have a maximum of two times to pass with a higher than 78% grade. Once you receive a passing grade after taking this program and exam, you will earn your Certificate in Roofing Estimating.
