I recently spoke with Marcus Eytcheson, Director of Dream Fulfillment at Fairmont Roofing in Minnesota, to learn more about his experience with DECRA and the JumpStart program. Before we got into that conversation, I had to ask about his unique title. He explained, “We try to do something a little unique or different. It seems like everyone is an owner or president and I just wanted to have some fun. It’s tough work that we do and if we can have some fun with it, it helps.” He has a sales person known as the people’s dealmaker and an office manager named for outstanding skills as a cat herder.
Marcus took advantage of DECRA’s JumpStart Program to get started selling and installing their system. He said he had been working with another manufacturer of stone coated steel products when they were purchased by another company. After that happened, he was experiencing quality control issues and terrible lead times.
Marcus said he knew it was time to find another manufacturer and he came across the Jump Start program offered by DECRA that would help him get started. “It definitely influenced my decision,” said Marcus. “We tried it out and were impressed with the quality of the product, the good lead time and that they have done everything they said they would do. You can’t ask for more than that.” DECRA has now become Fairmont Roofing’s Lead product when presenting a premium stone coated steel option to their customers.
The DECRA JumpStart program is for new contractors interested in installing and selling DECRA for the first time. The program provides cash rebates, training and support as a way to minimize the learning curve associated with new product installs. Contractors earn money back when they install a durable DECRA Roofing System. The more that is installed, the more cash they get back.
It’s working for Marcus, find out if it can work for your business.
