During the 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE), Coffee Shop crew member Karen Edwards interviewed Zach Carpenter and Karol Weyman from Jobba Trade Technologies about all that Jobba has to offer contractors. Zach is Jobba’s senior account executive and has around 15 years of industry experience overall, and Karol is Jobba’s marketing head and has been in the building industry for over 20 years.
Jobba itself is a company which develops business management software for commercial roofing contractors. This includes everything from reports to pictures to data about the company’s performance. At IRE, Karol and Zach focused on highlighting a few of the technology features and benefits.
The Jobba Compass is a new tool which operates like Clippy, the classic Microsoft Word mascot that guides you through different and difficult processes. Zach described it in detail, saying, “We have our own version of that to help walk people through in order to speed up their training and implementation process.”
With Jobba Connect, contractors can build stronger and more efficient communications and relations. This is a portal accessed by the building owners and managers and incorporates a payment system, log in service and interactive features.
Karol reemphasized that they are very customer-centric, explaining that they “have a great support staff available all the time for anyone that is in need, and we are always looking to see what needs the customer might have by looking at their data and giving them guidance.”
Overall, Jobba’s Compass and Connect programs are primed to meet their goal: “Making sure the contractor and specific people are supported so that they can go to the next level.”
