This year, the meeting is happening in Rosemont, Illinois with the kick-off event, the Welcome Reception, beginning on June 10 at 5:30 p.m. Educational opportunities begin the following day and continue until noon on June 12.

Later that same day, attendees can hear about MCA’s market study from guest speaker Paul Trombitas, from FMI, and get a technical update from guest speaker Alan Scott, the director of sustainability at Intertek. Interspersed around these information sessions are council and general meetings for event participants to attend. These meetings will offer attendees an early glimpse at the upcoming plans for the next METALCON as well as key organization information.
The next and final day, June 12, features a market development committee update from guest speaker and digital marketing strategist Allison Lundberg.
The Summer Meeting is taking place at the Hilton Hotel in town! It's conveniently located, close to both O'Hare International Airport and the city of Chicago via public transportation.
