The premier annual event of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC), this year’s convention will feature over 25 hours of educational seminars, a two-day trade show with over 140 exhibitors and live product demonstrations, as well as the Foundations’ silent and live auction.
“This year’s convention brings significant change; it is the first under our new name, the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, and fully embraces our role in providing consulting services for all six sides of the building enclosure,” stated IIBEC President Robert Card.
The educational programming kicks off with the opportunity to participate in two auxiliary seminars: "Historic Preservation: An Overview of the Assessment and Restoration of our Historical Heritage"; and "Legal Issues and Potential Pitfalls that Confront Building Enclosure Consultants, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors."
The 2020 convention is the perfect opportunity to network with architects, engineers, and consultants in the building enclosure industry and to learn the latest about methods, materials, and trends in the roofing, exterior walls, and waterproofing industry.
“Cutting-edge educational sessions are where building enclosure professionals can find solutions to the challenges they are facing in their consulting practices,” said Brian Pallasch, IIBEC CEO.
The opening general session will feature A.B. Stoddard, associate editor of Real Clear Politics, who will provide attendees a data-driven examination of the state of play in Washington, DC, and how the 2020 elections may affect our day-to-day business in the next four years.
Continuing our tradition of enabling students to learn through real-life experiences and education, the Foundations will be hosting more than 50 students from colleges across the U.S. and Canada to attend the Convention.
Early registration ends March 2, so register now to take advantage of lower rates.
