By Heidi Ellsworth.

North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) continues to provide important training.

On June 22, 2023, North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA), welcomes Bitec to provide torch down application training.  They will help contractors identify which roofing application methods are best for roofing companies and their clients.

Training is an essential part of the Bitec culture, and they refuse to sacrifice quality at any stage of the roofing process.  “We’re a rarity in the roofing industry,” states Joel Sheely, Bitec VP of Operations.  “More than 30 years ago, we developed a proven formula for our APP and SBS roof membranes (derived from Europe – the birthplace of modified bitumen membranes) and we have refused to alter it. When raw material prices rose and most others in the industry chose to cheapen their products with filler material, we remained loyal. We will not sacrifice quality because when it comes to roofing, quality is key. Training is essential part of allowing that quality to shine through the roofing project.”

The NTRCA training will explore torch down application and help identify which roofing application methods are best for participants and their clients including APP or SBS, two-Layer and three-Layer Torch Down applications.  The advantages of torch down roofing and details on the costs of torch down applications will also be covered along with showing how to use rolled mod bit options that work great on residential patios and extensions.

The cost for the event is $40 for members or $50 for nonmembers and participants will earn 2 RCAT CE Credits.  Lunch will be included thanks to Bitec.  So, if you are in North Texas don't miss this hands-on training to learn more about torch-down and how to use rolled mod bit on residential projects. Register here.

Watch for similar Bitec training across the country or request them from your local association.
