Bill Hamil Brings 25 Years of Roofing Experience to Metal-Era

Bill Hamil was named Western States Regional Business Development Manager for Metal-Era.

Waukesha, WI – Metal-Era, Inc., North America’s leader in commercial roof edge and roof ventilation solutions, continues to strengthen its team by adding Bill Hamil as the Western States Regional Business Development Manager.

Starting December 2017, Bill Hamil joined Metal-Era’s growing team assuming responsibilities for increasing the western U.S. presence including: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

A descendent of a successful commercial roofing family, Bill joins Metal-Era with more than 25 years of roofing and water management experience in commercial and residential segments. Prior to joining Metal-Era, Bill successfully serviced and expanded efforts in the Western Region for companies such as Gulfeagle Supply, RSG, and Owens Corning, delivering breakthrough strategies and critical hands-on leadership.

Brad Van Dam continued, “Adding Bill is in direct alignment with our sales strategy to provide a higher level of service in each of our regions. We’ve restructured our regions to allow our RBD’s to have a greater presence and impact in a more concentrated territory. Having already established relationships in western states, I know Bill will hit the ground running and be contributing a great deal, quickly.”

Myles Sosnoff and Dana Spurgeon, who previously serviced the western states as part of their regions, continue their advancement at Metal-Era. Myles was promoted to National Business Development Manager, in July, overseeing our National and Strategic Accounts, while Dana now focuses all his efforts on growing the Southeast Region.
