In its second year, the Beacon of Hope program is ready to award free roofs to three veterans and $2,500 toward new roofs to the seven runners up. 10 finalists have been selected and the roofing community is encouraged to vote for who they think should receive the new roofs.
Visit the Beacon of Hope website to read the stories of the 10 finalists and learn about the adversity they are facing. Choose which finalists you think deserves to receive a new roof. The winners will be revealed on November 11th and work will be scheduled to be completed by Spring 2021.
Last year, there were so many generous donations of materials to the program that Beacon was able to provide one of the runners up with a new roof too. That project was featured on RoofersCoffeeShop® (RCS) this summer. The roofing industry has such a big heart and has given so much back to their communities that we routinely share the stories of giving in our Caught Doing Good section of RCS.
