The Metal Roofing Summit originated out of the need for a place where professionals could meet and share valuable knowledge and insights on topics such as marketing, sales training and leadership skills that local roofers could use to better themselves and their business practices.
“The Metal Roofing Summit is really open to anyone who might be selling any metal roofing product, or even just maybe a home improvement contractor,” Todd Miller, the founder and a speaker at the summit, explained. “The Summit is about having great speakers to come in and help contractors out there to raise their games, so that they can be as successful as possible.”
“On the evening of April 26 during the Metal Roofing Summit, we will recognized our top customers with various awards. These awards are based upon their 2022 sales volume with us. We give these awards to recognize their hard work and dedication to our products,” stated Todd. “Based upon their volume, they may receive a Rising Star, Shining Star or President’s Award. Each year we give out about 40 awards.”
It’s important to recognize success through awards, and from past shows this night has been one of the most popular events. “For Metal Roofing Summit attendees, it is an opportunity to rub elbows with the best in metal roofing and meet with other contractors who can help you learn strategies to grow your business,” Todd said.
Following the metal summit, Isaiah Industries is also proud to offer installation training. “We have a 15,000 square foot indoor training facility in Piqua, Ohio,” continued Miller. “Contractors come from across the country to partake in a hands-on training program led by Marlen Bourne with our company.” Marlen has about 30 years of contracting experience and is really superior at not only training how to install metal roofs but also at helping contractors know how to do installations in an efficient manner.
“We encourage Metal Roofing Summit attendees to extend their stay and participate in installation training with a focus on project management. The training is provided at no charge. Each training session is tailored to meet the attendees’ specific needs,” noted Todd. “It may take from one to three days depending upon whether they are seeking training on standing seam, metal shingles or both. We gladly train folks who are even installing our competitors’ products because we believe that a rising tide raises all ships.”
“Additionally, throughout the year, we offer jobsite training at a negotiated cost depending on the situation,” Todd concluded. “We also connect contractors with regional trainers for training programs specific to their needs.”
This year’s Metal Roofing Summit will take place April 25 through the 27 at Isaiah Industries' own training facility in Dayton, Ohio. The event will host a number of inspirational speakers who, combined, have a wealth of valuable knowledge to share. Those who attend are sure to gain and expand the skills needed to dominate their local roofing market.
