Announcing Brennan Exteriors LLC as the 2024 winner of the Most Impressive Snow Guard System Project award

The award-winning installation of a DaVinci Multi-Width Slate roof on a custom lakeside home in Wisconsin shines with copper accents and an impressive snow guard system.

When Mike Brennan finished installing the 12,000 square foot DaVinci Multi-Width Slate roof on Kathleen Malone’s custom lakeside home in Wisconsin, he knew he and his team had done some of their best work ever. That thought was later confirmed when Brennan, owner of Brennan Exteriors LLC out of Mukwonago, Wisconsin won a DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor 2022 Project of the Year award for the project.

Now the beautiful home, which also features copper RG16 snow guards and Drift II snow fences, is a winner again. For their exemplary work, Brennan Exteriors has been designated the Grand Prize Winner in the category of “Most Impressive Snow Guard System Project” in the 2024 Show Us Our Snow Guards Contest sponsored by Rocky Mountain Snow Guards.

“This was such an incredible roofing project,” says Brennan. “There are nine separate barrel roofs and a one-of-a-kind mushroom roof. Plus there are many different roof lines and elevation changes. The DaVinci products are a perfect fit for the home and the boat house, but they definitely needed a dependable snow retention system and that’s where Rocky Mountain Snow Guards comes in.

“We requested copper snow guards and fencing to complement our other copper accents on the roof. There’s copper flashing, gutters and radius copper flashings on the barrel roofs. The entire exterior just shines with copper. The fact that we could match up the snow retention system in copper with the rest of the roof elements visually tied the entire roof together and made it an award-winner!”
