If you haven’t registered yet for Roofing Day in D.C. 2025, there are still a few days left! Make sure to book your accommodations at the Grand Hyatt Washington and review the draft itinerary to prepare for a productive event on April 8-9, 2025. The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) also has a preview webinar available to provide insights into what to expect and how to effectively engage in advocacy efforts.
Each year, the NRCA ROOFPAC makes it possible for industry professionals to make a real impact. By participating, you can ensure your voice is heard on Capitol Hill and that lawmakers understand the critical role of the industry in the nation’s economy and infrastructure. The event includes expert speakers, panel discussions and scheduled meetings with members of Congress and their staff. It’s a great opportunity to network with peers and industry leaders who share a commitment to advocating for the future of roofing.
Advocacy issues continue to center on workforce challenges and pro-growth tax reform to help ensure the long-term success of the roofing industry and the broader economy. The NRCA urges professionals from all areas of the industry to participate and engage with policymakers on these pro-growth tax reform issues:
1 – Co-sponsor the Main Street Tax Certainty Act (H.R. 703/S. 213)
2 – Co-sponsor the American Innovation and R&D Competitiveness Act
3 – Maintain the 179D Commercial Tax Deduction and 45L Home Tax Credit
The roofing industry plays a vital role in communities across the country, and policymakers need to hear directly from you and other professionals who build and maintain America’s roofs. By attending Roofing Day in D.C., you can help shape policies that support workforce development, economic growth and the long-term success of the industry.
Join us in Washington D.C. this April 8-9, 2025, and be part of the movement that ensures roofing professionals receive the support they need to succeed. We can make a difference together.
