A Sustainable and Durable Building Wrap that Meets Your Project Needs

Tuck NovaWrap

By Cayden Wemple.

See why Tuck® NovaWrap™ is an excellent choice for your building wrap needs.

NovaWrap by Tuck is a 100% synthetic building wrap that can withstand the elements. Whether it’s heatwaves, snowstorms, hailstorms, monsoons or anything else Mother Nature sends its way, this building wrap is durable enough to weather the storm.

This wrap is a non-woven, nonperforated polypropylene fabric which allows the ideal ratio of water resistance versus moisture vapor transmission to the outside so the structure can breathe without having to worry about any damage from unwanted water infiltration. Because of this, it also improves air quality by eliminating the possibility of harmful and intrusive mold and mildew.

Made out of a 100% recyclable and asphalt-free material, NovaWrap is suitable for buildings six stories and under and can be used on commercial or residential structures with new construction or retro fit. NovaWrap can be installed over plywood, OSB, gypsum, gypsum composite, rigid foam and other sheathing materials. It can also be installed under brick, stone, stucco, EIFS, cement board, wood, vinyl, metal and composites.

NovaWrap forms to the building’s structure and uses capped fasteners to secure it, making it easy to install and means it won’t flap in the wind and cause noisy disruptions. It’s translucent so you can easily locate studs and overlaps. And it is even tear and puncture resistant!

Additional features and benefits of NovaWrap include:

  • Saves energy by reducing outside air infiltration, improving energy efficiency.
  • Class A (E84) fire rated material that meets any rigid building standard.
  • Meets or exceeds applicable building codes for sheathing membranes and air barriers.
  • Provides six months of UV stability (recommended covering after 60 days).

NovaWrap is lightweight, easy to install, requires fewer fasteners and yields less waste than other building wraps. This means fewer repairs will be necessary!
