At the Western States Roofing Contractor Association (WSRCA)’s 2022 Western Roofing Expo, our COO Karen L. Edwards had the pleasure of speaking with Natalie Toby, the marketing manager for Hunter Panels. In the interview, the two discussed the many polyiso products Hunter Panels produces, specifically their latest line of tapered roof systems.
Founded in 1997, Maine-based company Hunter Panels has been manufacturing thermal efficient Polyiso insulation for roofs and walls. Although their headquarters are in Maine, Natalies tells us there are six plants all over the country with a seventh one on the way in Sikeston, Missouri.
In their conversation, Natalie discusses the tapered polyiso products Hunter Panels has to offer as well as the great work their tapered department has been doing. “We have an entire tapered department that will get your roof plan and put something together for you, but it can be intimidating,” Natalie says. “There's a lot of letters involved, and then it's like a jigsaw puzzle, putting it together and making sure your water's all running the right direction.”
She also discusses how contractors can utilize the tapered department at Hunter Panels for their next roof and wall insulation project. “They can just send in their plans to us, and our tapered team will build a roof system, a tapered roof system for them,” she says. “Whether it's their drains in the center of the roof, we've got products for that. We do hips and valleys, and we do the tapered pieces, but we also do extended taper panels.”
