By Dani Sheehan.

Discover the power of 2300 Construction Tripolymer Sealant and see why Geocel has a long history for setting the standard in quality.

The 2300® Construction Tripolymer Sealant from Geocel is a single component, high-performance elastomeric sealant available for use in a variety of construction applications. Add this to your toolbox for roofing, trim, manufacturing, underdeck systems, architectural, metal or solar system use and have the peace of mind that this quality sealant will not crack or break down. Its proprietary formula is designed to optimize flexibility, durability, adhesion and weather resistance thanks to the absence of plasticizers which can cause hardening and reduce longevity. The mild solvent blend is a non-flammable liquid, and the clear formulation allows for a glassy look the moment it's applied.

Other benefits include:

  • Excellent adhesion to a variety of building surfaces, even when damp
  • UV and weather resistant
  • Resealable and easily applied
  • Available in ten standard colors, crystal clear, while also being paintable
  • Exceptional flexibility and elongation, it will not crack over time

The 2300 Construction Tripolymer Sealant can be used on non-traffic bearing joints, including areas where structural stress or movement is anticipated. On most surfaces, it does not require a primer before application, easily adhering to asphalt shingles, coated steel, modified bitumen, concrete and other common building substrates.

Application is quick and easy, only requiring conventional caulking equipment. The sealant can be applied in most temperatures but will be easier if warmed prior to applying in temperatures below 40° Fahrenheit. It requires five days for curing with no additional maintenance. If the sealant is damaged, simply remove the bead and reseal or apply an additional layer of 2300 sealant over the damaged area.

Order your 2300® Construction Tripolymer Sealant today and find additional products for any tough construction or repair application from the industry’s leading sealant manufacturer.
