Benchmark celebrates three decades of expectional service in the roofing and pavement consulting industry.

On June 27, 2024, Benchmark celebrated its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of exceptional service in the roofing and pavement consulting industry. This milestone not only highlights our long-term commitment but also ushers in a new leadership era, poised to propel us forward with renewed energy. 

In 1994, the Taylor Associates Management Team bought the consulting group from the Taylor family and rebranded it as Benchmark, Inc. in 1995. The name reflects our commitment to setting a high standard for which to be measured from. In 2004, Benchmark merged with Pavement Consulting, Inc., solidifying our position as a comprehensive consulting firm. Over the years, Benchmark has grown with multiple locations nationwide and a team of dedicated professionals. We have completed over 4 billion square feet of roof and pavement inspections and assisted over 225 Fortune 500 clients.  

Our team includes over 50 consultants, five Registered Roof Consultants (RRCs), 20 Registered Roof Observers (RROs), and six Professional Engineers (PEs). We also have two Construction Documents Technologists (CDTs) to ensure meticulous project documentation and execution. 

As we celebrate 30 years, we welcome new leadership with Vince Ellison succeeding Ron Harriman. This change reflects our commitment to growth and innovation, building on a strong foundation to achieve new heights in customer satisfaction.
