The highly reflective, white modified bitumen roofing membrane is available for heat-welded and self-adhered applications.

Polyfresko® is a highly reflective, white modified bitumen cap sheet meant to be used as part of a multi-ply roof system.  Polyfresko helps to reduce energy costs and maintains its white appearance and reflectivity throughout the lifespan of the roof. It is developed with Polyglass’ patented CURE Technology®, a thin film technology applied to the membrane during the manufacturing process to increase longevitiy and energy efficiency, improve stain resistance and granule adhesion and prevent damage from UV rays.

Polyfresko cap sheet is constructed with a high-performance polyester reinforcement resulting in a roofing membrane with exceptional strength and puncture resistance. The membranes can be self-adhered or torch applied to Polyglass’ base sheets, DensDeck® Prime Roof Board, Securerock® Roof Board, concrete, and any asphaltic base sheet. Applying the CURE Technology Detail and Repair Finish to seams and details improves the aesthetics of the roof.

Polyfresko G SA (the self-adhered version) is designed with patented ADESO® Technology, which improves the ease of installation without sacrificing long-term performance. ADESO Technology is a revolutionary concept of manufacturing a dual-compound self-adhesive membrane using a “true” APP or SBS formulation on the top weathering side and an aggressive self-adhered formulation on the bottom side of the reinforcement.

Membranes with ADESO Technology features patented FASTLap® and SEALLap® distinguishing them from other self-adhered membranes. FASTLap enables granulated cap sheets to be manufactured with granule-free endlaps. SEALLap® is a factory-applied treatment at the membrane overlap section that enhances sealability.

Why Polyfresko cap sheet?

  • California Title 24 Compliant
  • Eligible for LEED® points as part of qualified cool roof system
  • UL Class A Fire Rating with extended warranties available
  • All season roofing solution available in SBS or APP formulations
  • Listed with the Cool Roof Ratings Council (CRRC)
  • Performs to Energy Star® standards
