Inspection to Approval - Roofing Restoration Process

This class will walk through some best practices in managing the roofing restoration process from initial inspection to final claim approval. This class will start with understanding the importance of a reliable narrative to provide the homeowner. The narrative will be played out in class so that all may hear how and why the homeowner should understand the three outcomes: Denial, Repairs, and Replacement. The class continues into best inspection practices and learning the importance of being predictive of the denials or objections on the day of the adjustment. There will be a review of some example inspection files to outline the importance of non-storm-related damage, construction implications, storm-related damages, and claim leverage. Looking further into the claim response the class will break down ways to approach denials, repairs, and replacement outcomes. Within the repair outcome, there will be a closer look at understanding how to handle the three main repair types: Components only, shingles only, and roof slopes only.
