ICP 2022 Educational Workshop Series: Introduction to Asbestos

Prized for its versatility as an insulator and for resistance to fire, asbestos containing materials (ACM) were incorporated into innumerable construction products and we still import tons of asbestos goods. This course promotes an understanding of how we make ACM safe – the processes of abatement: removal, enclosure or encapsulation with approved materials.
