Celebrating 165 Roofs Adopted on the 165th Day of the Year—June 13

On June 13 (the 165th day), we are celebrating the adoption of 165 Ronald McDonald House roofs by Roofing Alliance and NRCA members!

To help us celebrate, we would like our Ronald McDonald House Charities® partners to help us do a social media blitz.
We would like you to post photos Saturday, June 13 of your teams connecting with your local Ronald McDonald House.

First, check with your local Ronald McDonald House to see whether they have specific ways your team can help. Or, here are some ideas:

• Perform your annual roof inspections

• General maintenance or outside work

• Spring cleaning

• Have food delivered for the families and staff

• Purchase restaurant gift cards for the House

• Purchase and donate items from the House’s Amazon Wishlist

Then, reach out to your local House to take photos, video clips, etc., and post on social media June 13. Ask your House to do their own post or share yours. Use #165RoofsforRMHC when you or your local RMHC Chapter share on any social media platform so we can share it. Click here for RMHC guidelines to help you capture great visuals and content.

The RMHC #CardChallenge

Another opportunity for our Roofing Alliance members who are not currently connected to a Ronald McDonald House is the RMHC #CardChallenge campaign. To participate, build a house using a deck of cards, challenge your friends and family to do the same, and/or donate to help raise awareness and support the RMHC Chapter Emergency Response Fund. The fund provides relief to RMHC Chapters experiencing financial hardships and supports them as they continue to help families with sick children in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge has been extended through May 31. See the attached flyer for details.
