2 Week Roofing Academy - In Person - Lakewood, WA

Description:

The GAF Roofing Academy provides a comprehensive residential and commercial roofing certification. The graduates of the program receive OSHA 10 and GAF Roofing Academy certifications. Completion of the program signals to roofing employers that the graduates have the proper entry-level skills for a roofing installation job. Please take note that training will start on Tuesday the first week. Finally, official acceptance into the training will be confirmed by email 5 days before the start date by the trainer, Michael Humenik. His contact info is below. 

Week One: June 3rd- 7th, 2024, daily 9am-4pm PT

Week Two: June 10th- 13th, 2024, daily 9am-4pm PT

 Program Details:

-This program will focus on teaching the basics of residential & commercial roofing systems. The graduate of the class will have knowledge and skills to enter into the roofing industry.

-Community Engagement: Installing a Habitat for Humanity residential roof during the 2nd Week of training (dates to be decided)

-Graduates will be granted a $200 worth of tools upon proof of employment.

-Graduates will receive a certificate of completion as a GAF Roofing Academy Certified Graduate.

-Upon completion, graduates will have the opportunity to interview with our certified contractors, and employers, in the area for full-time employment.

-Transportation to and from training facility is the responsibility of the attendee.

-Light breakfast and lunch provided each day.
