Introducing Ecotorch Flashing by MB Technology

The Ecotorch flashing is precut to help contractors potentially save hours of time typically spent cutting flashings in the field.

Ecotorch flashing is a precut, smooth surfaced torch-applied flashing membrane now being offered by MB Technology. The product is designed to help contractors work more efficiently and save time by not having to cut flashings in the field.  Each roll of flashing is 9 inches wide by 33 lineal feet in length and weighs 21 pounds.

Ecotorch is designed as a superior modified bitumen, torch-applied membrane ideal for new roofing and re-roofing applications. It’s formulated with asphalt and modified with SBS and recycled tire rubber, improving its low temp flexibility and fatigue resistance.

Contractors installing an Ecotorch roof system use a lower torch temperature which requires less propane. They also get the benefit of a better end-lap adhesion, better granule adhesion and improved low temperature flexibility.  The use of recycled tire rubber appeal to contractors and building owners alike who want to use environmentally friendly materials. Just two rolls of Ecotorch keeps one car tire out of the landfill.
