Employee Retention is Not About the Money

RCS Influencer Martin Stout says employers should get to know their employees to improve retention.

This is way too important of a subject to not understand.

Get to know your people, listen to them, learn what makes them engage and give it to them. Care about them. Do they have kids? Are they involved in their family, club, church, neighborhood or whatever else? Make room as much as you can for those activities to be part of their lives along with their work.

Give them the environment where they can grow and let them grow, trimming only to make them more productive.

This is not about money, it’s about people.

Martin Stout is president of Go Roof Tune Up, Inc.  See his full bio here.
